Mark Webber was forced to acknowledge excellence in the Red Bull team-mate, Sebastian Vettel, the Korean Grand Prix qualifying. Even so, Webber did not complain because starting from position 2. In the qualifier that was held in Korea in Yeongam International Circuit on Saturday (10/23/2010), Webber had to settle for being the fastest racer second with 1 minute 35.659 seconds, the lag of 0.07 seconds from Vettel.
"Very, very thin. I occupy the second grid, which is obviously better than any other position," said Webber was quoted as saying Planet F1.
"It would be nice if could start from the first position, but we still can perform well from the second position. Today is going according to plan, the distance we are very slim," said the Australian racer.
Start from the second position would be less harmful for Webber because he would be in the circuit is dirty and will result in tire grip.
"That's not the end of the world," said Webber.
But Webber also have their own benefit because he will wear a new machine. That is, Webber who now leads the drivers' standings with 220 points, could menggeber with the maximum.
"That's not a big problem. It's all just one machine. It will not make a big difference," complete 32-year racer.
